April 20th was a date lots of folks had been anticipating since this time last year....It was April 2011that Mark Miller and the gang rolled in on their tour bus for their Branson concert. The Oak Ridge Boys Theatre was packed full of fans eagerly awaiting this group to take the stage.
And, this year was no different. The house was packed, just as eager for the show as last year. The guys, celebrating 30 years in the music industry, played their hearts out for an hour and half. The audience cheered loudly towards the end of the show, when Miller performed his famous "spin" on Step that Step, the song that started their career. The trip down memory lane was great, and the group's newest album was included in the song list.
For those of you who missed this, no worries. Sawyer Brown will be making another stop in Branson this October. Be sure to purchase your tickets quick, as those who were at last week's concert will surely want to attend the second concert as well.
